Here at KIN we are committed to having a positive impact on the environment and our community. As we grow as a brand, so do our efforts – our goal is to always limit our impact on the environment the best that we can.
Sustainability begins with thoughtful design. All KIN creations are timeless and made for the modern day woman. Wearable and versatile, we reinvent and reimagine classics, focusing on great fabrication and fit. We consider every detail and ensure that every piece is made sustainably with care.
To limit the impact we have on the environment, we opt for using natural fibers like Cotton, Wool, Silk, and Linen and avoid using synthetic fibers that are not biodegradable. We choose to use recycled fibers like Tencel, Cupro, Bamboo, Viscose as well as deadstock fabrics as much as possible.
To limit garment waste, we introduce pre-order for all our products so that our quantities are reflective of our demand. We also launch in small quantities of each design to avoid excess inventory and waste.
We partner with a family run factory based in China where a tight team of employees hand make each item with great attention to detail, love, and care.
We focus on high quality pieces designed with longevity in mind so they can be worn, re-worn and passed on for generations — and in turn, reduce the amount of landfill waste.
We believe that we are stronger together and we strive to continuously share inspirational stories of other like-minded women in the fields of design, art, and entrepreneurs around the world through #KINTERVIEWS where they share their insights and tell their stores.
